The British Irish Chamber of Commerce is today joining people across the United Kingdom and Ireland in mourning the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
In a statement, John McGrane, Director General of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce said, “The British Irish Chamber of Commerce wishes to offer our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and our members, colleagues and counterparts in the UK on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“At this difficult time for the Royal Family and especially the British people, we want to pay tribute to the Her Majesty’s life-long dedication to public service and to the deeper collaboration between our two countries.
“The Chamber was founded in 2011 ahead of the historic visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Ireland. We cherish her role in inspiring us to come together to celebrate the economic, social and cultural ties between UK and Ireland.”
